Author: John @SkillsGapTrain The wind moves across the range, carryin’ gunpowder smell a little. I stand on range with rifle in my hands. I line up the shot on target, but the eye in older age is not so sharp as it once was. I feel calm before the shot. There is no fear. There is a bit of uncertainty as I get experience with this new way of fighting sport. I feels a little bit like the uncertainty of growin’ up behind the Iron Curtain, where the folks with guns were people you dared not to talk to about any subject, or to reveal any words or thoughts, only to listen and to stay silent and obey.
