The Need for Critical and Relevant Journalism

Introduction:

Ah, okay. We’ll pay more attention to CTV in the future to see if there are similar problems there too. Could be yes. Wouldn’t be surprised at all if it is bad. Evidence in society lends credence to your statement as true.

Current Viewing Habits:

We don’t really watch CBC or CTV anymore because there’s so much more relevant and urgent 21st-century material available through global streaming services (independent, private market, X-Articles, X-Channels, YouTube shows, etc.).

While CBC and CTV can be relaxing and sometimes offer interesting, well-financed presentations (too well), they often overlook the critical information that people need to navigate the world safely, productively, and intelligently.

“Or it may be accurate to say, they overlooked critical stories in the past.”

However, due to extensive multi-year criticism, things may be changing post-2022 in sync with the global and national awakening.

“Not on the corruption administration sense of executives and managers, but in the sense of the journalists trying to be more critical, more national security-minded, more focused on accountability overall with their interview subjects, and closer to actual real-world narratives.”

Critique of Mainstream Media:

One cannot simultaneously help people and keep them calm and distracted at the same time.’ Mainstream shows, such as CTV, have often failed to help people navigate the world correctly or address crucial issues like fixing their country, protecting their economy, protecting the administrative structures from growth too much or growth of corruption in administrative structures (such as health administration, education administration, banking administration, and government administration), and protecting people from banks and corporations.

We’ve encountered citizens for the past 20 years who didn’t know the optimal way to solve environmental or systemic problems in Canada (corporate, economic, tech economy, energy, financial, innovation problems, etc.).

Since people received much of their education from mainstream news from 1990 to 2020 but were still unable to solve material reality problems, it suggests that mainstream news did not offer educational value and national political value, and might have countered educational progress, political progress, and economic progress within the population and country.

Comparison with Dynamic Content:

These mainstream outlets may not be closely connected enough to the dynamic content from professors, intellectuals, academics, authors, and publishers available from popular textbooks on Amazon or leading think tank streaming channels and podcasts of importance to humanity and to citizens on platforms like X and YouTube (Think Northern Perspective, Canadian Prepper, Clyde Do Something, Tom Bilyeu, Jordan Peterson, Joe Rogan, etc.).

‘Think what happened when the population and media and government, for the first time heard an actual professor speak Dr. Jordan B Peterson. They were shocked with dissonance as to their understanding of reality.”

“As a result, the mainstream news may not engage the public in essential conversations needed to understand the real and impactful narratives unfolding around them in the 21st-century transformations.”

For example, it’s people like Lauren Southern and Eva Vlaardingerbroek who talk about “food poison” and “agricultural corporation fraud,” or “farm protests in Europe,” not mainstream outlets like CBC.

For this reason, outlets like CBC are suspected for not holding corporations to account (such as holding them to account for making people obese, or holding the government to account for holding 99.7% of Canada’s land outside of the city area, away from the new generation).

And we are for the majority Canadian Christian identity country as the foundation, from Europe, 87% in 1980, 83% in 1990, and 52% in 2021 (and yet CBC pulls us away from our roots and our heritage and history of Europe, and is never sending journalists to Europe to report on the daily activities of all the countries in Europe, which are our roots). This is an attack on the foundation of Canada since 1990. It’s not as suprise PM Trudeau feels free to define culture on his terms, for all 41 million people, with the CBC standing like a fallen soldier (but not a soldier at all, but as a corrupt administrator).

For all essential activities of existence and progress, the mainstream news seems to have failed and to be unable to address these critical issues effectively, such as the protection of freedom or of national identity.”

Lack of Practical Utility:

For all intents and purposes, CBC and CTV offer good production and presentation quality that is inpsiring, and their hosts are extremely good actors and presenters, but they have not been useful enough in people’s lives and the lives of nations due to the story choices and the depth of of the analysts might not be as deep as you find on X or on YouTube.

People only think the mainstream shows are useful but then have no ability to improve the citizen lives it seems, with citizens gain from the mainstream shows.

This could explain why people avoid watching them mainstream shows now, an instinctive response where their mind has course-corrected their lives away from these shows.

Perhaps the mainstream, out of necessity, will become useful in the future, signified by a resurgence in viewership.

Recent Positive Developments:

However, we did recently see Vassy Kapelos hold a few MPs to account, which was an interesting development.

This signifies a move away from a more authoritarian society, from a communist society, where there is no criticism of MPs or holding them to account. This could be the beginning of a trend towards a freedom society.

In such communist societies, political leaders speak unchallenged, and there are no interviewers, just the leaders’ faces. It was refreshing to see a “security mindset” in a journalist, with skepticism similar to that of a detective, aimed at uncovering points of concern.

It seems that even on CBC, journalists have recently shown heightened alertness, rigour, and a more skeptical approach to all parties, including leaders (except towards PM Trudeau, which it seems, they sometimes help with their question arrangement). But regardless, congrats to the CBC for putting in effort towards quality improvement recently (such as the adoption of an investigative mindset and an accountability and a security mindset).

This might be a recent development, but it’s encouraging to see the mainstream news, like CTV, responding and acting more like a third party by pulling out essential information from MPs. Like the way Vassy interiewed Jagmeet Singh. Wow eh! Not fooling anyone with this journalist in focused mode of questioning!

Importance of Local Media:

We like the idea of having some mainstream media with offices in Canada because we believe in safeguarding the national framework (the legislation of Canada that protects humans through the nation state architecure), and so defending this nation state requires some ability to influence the information space.

Representing original thoughts of citizens in different cities” and safeguarding citizen authority, and “projecting citizen professional ideas” and expertly analyzing them for value and then delivering these ideas as expert investigators and journalists into the information space,” ensures that more powerful global channels do not overshadow Canadian channels and that more powerful global channels don’t overwhelm Canadian identity.

It’s important to empower local citizens and their fellow professional citizens to get their message out through local offices into the information space, especially if it is necessary to defend themselves or their country from foreign channels, foreign influence, foreign corporate alliances and their vast network of media systems, and foreign political alliances engaged in 5th generation hybrid warfare.

Balanced Approach to Media Reform:

While the idea of de-funding the CBC is appealing, especially given the history of PM Trudeau and Chrystia Freeland using 1 trillion CAD from 2000 to 2024, and 1.5 trillion CAD over the last 10 years towards intangibles (office administration/corruption) rather than funding STEM specialists, surgeons, doctors, or housing and land development, it’s also crucial to consider the potential consequences on the Canadian media landscape. A balanced approach might involve de-funding the CBC (and the dozen or so other buildings across the country that are not the headquarters but still CBC buildings of operation) to reduce its financial burden while preserving some of the intellectual capital by shifting it to another media giant of Canada. That might be effective financially for the taxpayer and represent a protection of digital property production capability.

Conclusion:

In summary, we don’t know how bad CTV is. But we are certain de-funding CBC will make the media ecosystem in Canada increase their alertness and value system development further to the citizens of Canada. There has to be accountability and consequences paid for what is described in this post.

While mainstream media in Canada has its flaws, completely de-funding entities like the CBC without a strategic plan to take the digital assets and expertise (productive crew and journalism expertise, not the administration, management or executives or buildings) might not be the best solution.

The administrators ultimately decide the pay structure and are the ones responsible for “overcompensation corruption” (payments not in line with Millenial and Gen Z earnings in private market).

Because something is paid transparently in the public register, doesn’t mean its not corrupt payment structure. The “transparent” payments to CBC are far beyond Millenial and Gen Z media payments, by orders of magnitude, and far beyond international level of wages that Millennials and Gen Z use in the private market.

The journalists are more responsible for thecontent,” and its misalignment with national and citizen requirements, and for not having backbone to report on what they decide as experts, instead of what management decides.

We believe this is a lower breach of trust, as it might be the case that they had orders to deliver content that is misaligned with national interest and national citizen progress requirements.”

So it might be the case that the journalists and crew are still employable at CTV or another outlet.

So we can’t say anymore about CTV anymore ideas at this time. We can only post what is observed literally in our limited experience of these shows.

It looks like Pierre Poilievre and Conservative MP understand there’s a deep problem there. This is great.

The key is: There are many CBC buildings to de-fund, not just the headquarters (this is the key to saving money). x.com/SkillsGapTrain
