Skills Gap Trainer (SGT) is an educational initiative focused on developing the science and tech skills of world-class engineers, technologists, applied scientists, computer scientists, technicians and other STEM professionals using logic and a systematic approach to address Canada’s and America’s technical skills gap, particularly in technical, leadership & tech design fields. It emphasizes practical, high-level training inspired by rigorous disciplines, such as software engineering, computer science, applied science, technical leadership, media production, to prepare individuals for complex challenges in technological governance, tech design, tech leadership, management, science communication, technological innovation and citizen defence innovation.
