Navigating Shifts in Digital Marketing: From Instagram’s Challenges to Embracing the X Platform

Twitter / X users, as well as all American corporations and Canadian corporations, political figures globally, and businesses worldwide, should recognize their fortune that Elon Musk has taken over, offering the X eXperience. Here’s why:

Consider the post by CCFR about the Toronto Sun excerpt:

RUNNING GUNS – Canada is next door to the world’s biggest supplier of any kind of gun for personal use and secret military camps in case they don’t like the government in power, and with guns are enshrined in their Constitution. I don’t care how much extra money the feds give police departments to hire more police, it won’t solve the problem. Canada does not have a dedicated border patrol to stop the importing of illegal guns, and the RCMP do not have the manpower to do this job anyway, and for sure Canada Border Services aren’t equipped to do the job either! Canada needs tough jail sentences with no bail or parole for gun and drug crimes, with a dedicated border patrol, RCMP handling only federal crime, and provinces taking over their own policing except Ontario and Quebec which do their own. We can solve this problem when the government gets serious, but we’re up against opponents who only want to spend money on social programs and have no worries about Canada’s security and safety!

Here was the reply from Skills Gap Trainer on Instagram:

It’s deeply frustrating to be seen as the bad guy as a firearms rights supporter, especially when criminals with hidden and unregistered firearms distort public perception. Although there are over 2.2 million licensed firearms owners in Canada, the speculated total number of firearms, including illegal ones, could be significantly higher. It is speculated it can be about 20 million total firearms when including illegal firearms. This vast discrepancy implies there could be millions of illegal firearms, since we do not believe that the average for firearms owners is 10 firearms per owner.

This discrepancy suggests a serious, unaddressed problem with illegal firearms — an issue that has not been mentioned whatsoever by the leaders and an issue not sufficiently tackled due to our government’s perceived lenient penalties and inadequate deterrent measures. Moreover, the limited capabilities of the Canada Border Services Agency, which lacks comprehensive border patrol and associated AI, robotics, automation and detection technologies, exacerbate the situation by failing to curb the smuggling of these weapons effectively.

To truly address gun violence, we must focus on enhancing security and technological measures to better estimate and control the flow of illegal firearms, thereby shifting the narrative towards a more accurate understanding of the group of lawful firearms owners versus the realities of gun-related crime. We are in the 21st century, and living in the 21st century without precise engineering and security, is a type of disaster waiting to happen.

Instagram Community Guidelines include:

Removing content that could lead to real-world harm, hate speech, bullying, harassment, and misinformation that poses a risk of imminent violence or physical harm, including misleading comments and those that support crime, terrorism, self-injury, credible threats, shaming, or graphic violence.

However, Instagram’s actual censorship does not follow these Community Guidelines. From October 5th, 2023, to April 15th, 2023, 15 of our posts which were not firearms related were subject to 15 violations.

We meticulously reviewed each comment multiple times to ensure compliance with the guidelines, and found that no comment had violated them.

Reasons not related to the comments such as ‘Spam’ or ‘Misleading’ were provided, but the comments were very direct, to the point, clear and verified, and often addressed to channel owners or public, not individuals.

These reasons Instagram had were not actually related to the community guidelines, but an internal moderator favouritism for certain channels and perceptions, which were likely not based on research of actually visiting and actually reading our web pages or similar content.

Measures we took to avoid breaching guidelines:

1. Hired two team members with credentials in engineering, computer science, applied science technology, and information systems, ensuring their professional registrations were active.

2. Verified the factual accuracy of our Instagram comments by consulting both GPT 3.5 and GPT-4.

3. Re-checked the comments with Gemini Advanced for political correctness.

4. Conducted a final factual accuracy check using Google Search.

5. Ensured comments would lower unemployment, support increased funding for Canadian businesses, and increased funding for government departments like RCMP, CBSA, DND, and provincial police, boosting public safety and national integrity, stability, and performance.

6. Avoided references to the Liberal Party in these comments, maintaining political neutrality often.

7. Crafted comments succinctly to enhance the Instagram experience, keeping them to one line and under one paragraph. Most comment violations were 1 to 4 sentences.

8. Began to run ad campaigns to provide more value to our Instagram presence.

9. Clicked like on Mark Zuckerberg to make him feel welcome.

10. Spoke well in public and online about the fantastic Instagram system for 8 years, and saw the company as the future of Internet Digital Marketing alongside X.

Does it look to you that Instagram is improving experience if people have to work like an expert to make it as capable of leaving a comment?

Despite extensive efforts to comply with Instagram’s guidelines, our experience was met with unexpected barriers. Although we provided 50 content article posts aimed at engaging the audience, Instagram occasionally gave errors as if we had done something wrong, such as ‘automatic activity errors’ but every comment is unique and every like was on things we like and things we do not like are not liked.

There was even deactivation of marketing posts, even after we had paid what was do for ad campaigns, the fireawalls still were impossible to remove to active campaigns pretty often.

This lack of transparency in their operations was a significant setback.

Furthermore, Instagram’s handling of feedback was equally frustrating. The platform did not have a system in place to track or show the feedback we submitted. You submit feedback, and it’s gone.

Removed content section is always empty section, but luckily we still see a few posts left in the app under “Support Requests Violations”.

This absence of a feedback mechanism logging seemed designed to make us forget the negative experiences and the specific instances when we raised concerns about posts being unjustly taken down.

The company’s failure to respond to complaints or to open tickets to investigate the issues further exemplified a severe lack of engagement with its users.

It was disheartening, as the platform we valued for its community-focused ideals seemed indifferent to our concerns, making it feel like a one-sided relationship where feedback was ignored and user satisfaction was not a priority.

This impersonal approach was disheartening, particularly for a team like ours at SGT, who had aspired to use Instagram as a primary marketing tool for the next 40 years.

We have been dreaming about being Instagram stars since the release date, a long time. Our disillusionment with Instagram’s management of community interactions and feedback prompted us to reconsider our marketing strategy.

As a result, we decided to transition our marketing efforts to the X Platform. This platform offered an environment that respected the lessons taught by North American universities and provided a marketing system that was not only user-friendly but also yielded a high return on investment.

The simplicity and effectiveness of the ‘Promote’ function on X were revelations; it allowed us to test the engagement ratio of individual tweets and optimize our spending by focusing on the most effective content. This revelation meant that a few dollars would yield unbelievable marketing results that would be a multiple on the dollar invested, an unheard of return in digital marketing, especially in such an optimized and cut throat industry as the web and IT sectors. Whoever made this system, is a genius.

This approach was starkly different from our experiences with Instagram, where the misapplication of community standards seemed to undermine the very purpose of our public safety and societal strengthening messages. In short, Instagram, seemed to offer little assistance to content creators via the design of its system, and any success anyone has on this platform seems to rely sole on the contributions of the creator, and nothing from Instagram, which is unlike X where accounts seem to magically grow in influence without much marketing work.

The effectiveness of X’s system revealed a significant opportunity: businesses could achieve substantial growth not necessarily because of their intrinsic qualities but because of the platform’s superior marketing capabilities. This was a game-changer, especially for businesses struggling to find success elsewhere.

The situation led us to reflect on the broader implications of Instagram’s policies and practices. By censoring content that aimed to enhance public safety and societal resilience, Instagram was inadvertently contributing to the issues it purportedly sought to avoid.

The costs of such censorship were not only financial but also cultural, criminal, and deeply impactful to business operations.

The switch to X Platform thus represented not just a practical business decision but a strategic move to align with a platform that truly leverages digital marketing to empower businesses and contribute positively to society.

In light of these challenges, one must question the training and operational mandates given to the computer scientists at Instagram. How could a platform built to connect and enhance communities fail so significantly in fostering positive and constructive interactions? Are Instagram operators not computer scientists or engineers at the very least? They would never make such an ethical mistake, not the ones in Canada at least.

This question remains particularly poignant, highlighting a stark discrepancy between the platform’s potential and its current execution. When we say we are disappointed in life, we say the word Instagram. Mark Zuckerberg should not be smiling as often as he does when the people who he hired do this to his company.

@skillsgaptrainer @cb_dogeThe photo is psychologically accurate to Instagram communication control administrators. If you are trying to praise the beauty of human technological achievement on Instagram or other great things about people and their magical greatness, the corporate behaviour will be exactly like that child, with false claims on comment assessments, in a type of pretense that you said something that matches the community guideline description but is never a match in any technical sense.

Also, instead of appreciating the data of users and contributors, just as in the photo, it will be to ensure that no one in the world can appreciate the data, by erasing it with AI or putting the lens cap on whenever there is emotional feeling. It is random, so the user will never know when the lens cap comes. Will always be a surprise. We all have to help their design thinking and employ long-term patience to accomplish a better experience for users there. And more modern design too! Like X!

How does one undo the idea: “Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.” This is what software engineering, computer science and design thinking is for! To solve the great challenges when power corrupts.

@skillsgaptrainer @cb_dogeOh, this explains why Instagram removed the comment earlier today. The Instagram administrators likely wanted to prevent Canadians from adopting the design philosophy and vision that Air Canada has implemented in their new dual tone white/black obsidian glass design in the new Dreamliner fleet, which seem very close to X/SpaceX vision. Fortunately, with platforms like X in Canada, there’s a robust support system for communication and the support of engineering and design innovations proposed by citizens in Canada, rather than supranational institutions. This encourages a more grassroots approach to technological advancements in the nation states that X operates in.

Censored Air Canada Comment on Instagram:

@skillsgaptrainer “Who decided to paint it black on the engines and underneath? It looks like an inspired choice. After all, the sun mostly shines from above, not as much from ground to sky.

This modern, profound pain choice, and surface finish, coupled with luxurious obsidian like glass design, with dual tone black and white theme, enhanced by red maple leaf over black and over white as well, it looks to us like it is setting a new standard of luxury look, performance and striking tech vision look. It’s nice that it appears that Air Canada Dreamliners have embraced this ultra modern and very well aligned 21st century theme, similar to X, and SpaceX.

Flying should be about class and cutting-edge technology, and cutting edge space reach with great comfort, setting us apart from other airliners. Wouldn’t it be nice if other corporations followed this design theme that Air Canada has brought to Canada, proving that true leadership and tech vision of the future comes from pilots and aerospace engineers, because classy, timeless and amazing leadership and reaching frontier destinations, is what they do.

PS: Don’t forget the yellow bands and trims, on uniforms and planes, can use real gold and real silver, so as to represent and actually be the timeless aesthetic and technical quality that the flight crew and the aircraft, should have.”

@ElonMuskAOC The name 𝕏 is far better than Twitter. Thoughts?”

@skillsgaptrainer @ElonMuskAOC X not only eXudes professionalism but also attracts students, academics, intellectuals, top talent and professionals. It epitomizes the potential for eXponential technologies, set to dramatically escalate in popularity. Superior by design, X is a dynamic platform engineered for continuous evolution — unlike the timid blue bird that shies away from launching off the ground and soaring, clashing with the establishment, or acquiring new capabilities. X perfectly captures the shades of ambition and innovation , like SGT’s shades, that define SGT and SpaceX. X is a significant upgrade, and it’s better. Social media has long been a domain for the kids and teenagers and child psychology moderators; but now, we’ve crafted a space for adults — sophisticated, yet with a hint of the mischievous adult systems of 21st century. Technical aerospace and space systems of course, similar to obsidian glass, white and silver themes, that we want to see in Elon’s future Tesla vTOL designs/Roadster designs.”

@ElonMuskAOCWould you use a 𝕏 search engine? 100% secure, your data is never being collected. Straight facts, no bias. No wokeness.”

@skillsgaptrainer @ElonMuskAOC “The advent of advanced artificial intelligence technologies heralds a new era in search engine development. This could rejuvenate competition among tech companies, potentially disrupting the current market monopolies in Search. By introducing innovative “AI-driven search engines”, the internet might witness the emergence of a more open and competitive search market. This shift could democratize access to information, offering users diverse choices and broader access to information, thus fostering a healthier digital ecosystem and a healthier and more tolerant and more enabled business growth environment.”

@skillsgaptrainer @cb_dogeTo illuminate instances of censorship, consider employing the following methods, which can empower citizens to discern potential interference by influential entities:

SEO Analysis: If you suspect that an individual, organization, non-profit, or business is encountering obstacles in disseminating their message, you can begin an investigation in potential hindrances to economic success, through SEO analysis.

Follow these steps: Visit seoptimer.com. Input the domain of the organization in question. Navigate to the bottom of the analysis results page, the Keyword Positions section, in the analysis results.

Statistically, it would make sense for the keyword distribution to exhibit a natural progression across different positions, gradually increasing in keyword quantity, on a position by position basis, from Position 1, through the various positions, to Position 31-100. If you observe an anomalous concentration of keywords solely in positions 31-100, with minimal representation in earlier positions, it may indicate irregularities. It could be an indication of political “nudging” of the articles and posts out if the main area of competition where there is any traffic at all, to positions where there is no traffic. Look for outliers, or unnatural keyword concentrations, as only an even and steadily growing distribution across various positions suggests an unimpeded operation. This is especially true, and a more reliable measure, for websites or web platforms with a larger data set of articles and posts, therefore increasing reliability of statistical results.

YouTube Channel Assessment: Another avenue for uncovering potential censorship involves evaluating the performance of the individual, business, or organization’s YouTube channel.

Follow these steps: Assess the viewership of the videos, as well as the quality and the intention. If you notice a stark contrast between the number of views across different videos, such as some garnering millions of views while others remain stagnant at 10 views, it may signal the presence of undisclosed barriers limiting traffic. Further, if it is the case that the videos being compared from one channel are for politics, alarm-ism or of general low intellectual quality and it is receiving millions of hits while more noble and educational video receives only 10 hits, this could further cement the reliability of the analysis, as it would provide more circumstantial evidence to the analysis. Noticing such discrepancies might suggests a departure from the equitable distribution of impressions, which contradicts the principles of a free market social media design algorithms.

Remember, the pursuit of free markets extends beyond physical realms to encompass virtual domains. Upholding this principle is fundamental to the ethos of our society. Additionally, recognize that the efficacy of online content dissemination is not solely determined by ambition but also influenced by the design of technological frameworks. Thus, advocating for leadership positions guided by the principles of Western philosophy, the Age of Reason, and sound engineering practices, with engineering led design frameworks for algorithms instead of political led design of algorithms, is paramount in fostering an environment conducive to transparency and equitable access to information.

Go Elon! Wear that anti censorship business suit with pride. Your black suit is the real pride. The pride that you destroyed censorship! Something to be proud about.” seoptimer.com

@cb_doge “Elon Musk has surpassed 182 million followers. He is the most interacted social media account in the world. Man of the people.”

@skillsgaptrainer @cb_dogeEvery man can wear a suit. And every man should. But only a real man earns the suit. Sometimes, it’s only one or two or a few who know a man who has truly earned his suit. Other times, the whole world knows, like with Elon. So, wearing a suit isn’t just about looking good —it’s about being good. And if you haven’t got there yet, wearing the suit will set you on your path. So let’s all have some pride, some real pride, and wear a nice black suit like Elon.”
