It has come to our attention that the Senate of Canada room, as splendid and stately as it appears, does not often appear on the social media channels of most citizens. This absence deprives us of a valuable opportunity to fully understand the bills and the intricate deliberation processes. From the glimpses that we did manage to get, the Senate room is truly an embodiment of grandeur and history. Moreover, having looked at the biographies of some Senators, it’s evident that their collective experiences and insights could offer invaluable perspectives to the public discourse.

On that note, we humbly request you or any other citizen or leader to reach out to any of your Conservative MP colleagues that are familiar or interested to investigate a little more the Bill C-21. If any are willing, it would be of immense value if they could post video clips of their interactions with Senators in the Senate room, on their own social media channels, particularly around topics like Bill C-21. Given the significance of this legislation, and it’s side impacts on the Canadian domestic and national security environment, sports shooting community, hunting community, conservation community, responsible firearm owner community, and the firearm ecosystem of businesses, it would serve as a crucial record for the citizenry.

We know Conservative MP’s have championed investigation and deep analytics pertaining to the investigation of Bill C-21, however, it would still be a momentous step if Conservative MPs could allocate again a small portion of their time for brief interviews with members of the Standing Senate Committee on National Security and Defence (SECD) or the Standing Committee on Public Safety and National Security (SECU), who most likely are leadership figures that the public would be amazed to learn more about. We believe it would be particularly impactful to see interactions in the Senate chamber with notable Conservative MPs such as Pierre Poilievre, Melissa Lantsman, Andrew Scheer, Chris Warkentin, Leslie Lewis, Michael Barrett, Larry Brock, Blaine Calkins, Michael Chong, Michael Cooper, Raquel Dancho, Dane Lloyd, Michelle Rempel Garner, Alex Ruff, among others. It would also be enlightening to hear from Police or DND officials who are willing to investigate Bill C-21 and provide clarity on its opposition.

Having such insightful interactions captured on video would not only demystify the legislative process but also create a more informed and engaged citizenry. Thank you for considering this request, and once again, gratitude for your dedication to keeping us informed. Keep up the good work!”
