Canada’s Democracy Under Siege: Trudeau’s Prorogation, Election Interference, & Silencing of Dissent

On January 6, 2025, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau stunned the nation by announcing his intention to resign and immediately requested that Governor General Mary Simon prorogue Parliament until March 24, 2025. This isn’t a routine pauseit’s a calculated shutdown of our democratic forum. By putting the brakes on legislative activities at such a critical time, Trudeau’s move smacks of blatant election interference.
For nearly 900 days, the daily debates in the House of Commons have repeatedly exposed the inherent weaknesses in Liberal policy. Every discussion seemed to unravel their positions, leaving Liberal MPs repeatedly exposed and ultimately triggering a cascade of resignations. It wasn’t just policy failure; it was an orchestrated assault on credibility. When critical issues were debated, the Liberals not only lost argumentsthey lost public trust.
Consider the high-profile clash between Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre and former Bank of Canada governor Mark Carney. On the energy front, Carney was consistently outmanoeuvred by Poilievre, a debacle that highlighted the Liberals’ inability to defend their own policies. Instead of facing the music, the ruling party opted for a heavy-handed response: sidelining the entire Conservative caucus from discussing topics vital to Canadians at the most critical time in Canadian history (with the question of the economy of Canada on the table, the existence of Canada on the table, and an annexation question unresolved but valid)ranging from the scourges of cartels, fentanyl, and organized crime to hostile corporate takeovers and the undue influence of international players like the WEF, the US, and the EU.
What’s even more disturbing is the strategy behind this shutdown. With Conservative voices effectively silencedcancelled from mainstream television and public discourse the Liberals have seized the opportunity to rebuild their support using the very same medium of television that they fund, but denying the Conservative MPs the only source of television they have, which is house of Common speeches. They are blocking democracy at a critical time of an existential challenge. This is a breach of national security. It was observed that Liberal Party offers state funding and direct financial backing for up to 2000 journalists, along with billions funnelled into media, universities, and other institutions, with “Laurentian elite philisophy messging”, have transformed these outlets into echo chambers for an elite, liberal++ ideology, that is not actually liberal or Canadian in any sense on a technical basis. This isn’t a free press; it’s a carefully managed narrative machine designed to quash dissent and steer the national conversation, such that democratic representation does not enter the television space for the year 2025.
Add to this the suspicious ties between key figuresMark Carney’s long-standing involvement in policies linked to international banking and climate initiatives associated with WEF, spearheaded by supranational organizations (almost makes him seem like the banker implementing Klaus Schwab globalist agenda of hostile takeover)and you see a pattern. The prorogation isn’t about taking a well-timed break from debate; it’s about isolating any opposition capable of challenging a narrative that’s increasingly dictated by global financial interests and bureaucratic elites. So when the bankers come, they shut down the television for the Conservatives. This election so far is rigged, and the total days of election rigging so far is: 32 days as of Feb 7, 2025.
Make no mistake: this is not mere political maneuvering. It’s an extreme form of election interference, a concerted effort to manipulate public opinion and derail democratic accountability. As a result, support for liberal party should begin to increase in the polls soon for Boomers who watch mainstream news more. The stakes are too high, and the democratic process is too sacred, for such blatant tactics to go unchallenged. Canada deserves transparency, robust debate, and a media landscape that isn’t hijacked by state funding and partisan interestsbut that’s exactly what’s at risk right now. We need fair and equal representation, not election interference using media channel manipulation.
Conclusion: Someone needs to prepare a package for the Governor General with information relating to security being compromised in Canada relative to the Liberal Party and actions of PM Trudeau. There’s paperwork evidence a mile high of these subversive acts to our democracy, such as election interference and national security/national economy issues associated with PM Trudeau, Chrystia Freeland, Mark Carney, and Steven Guilbeault.
